The Edmond Quilt Guild was formed in early 2004 with a mission of providing the opportunity to preserve, teach, and share the history and art of quilting. Every member of the guild has their own special talent and are always willing to share this with others. Through the guild’s quilt show held on the even years the guild is able to host 2-4 internationally known speakers/instructors as well as others from surrounding states. Many of these speakers have provided workshops that have been instrumental in increasing our knowledge of the quilting/sewing world. Guild members are very active in their Loving Touch activities which provides placemats for Edmond Meal on Wheels throughout the year and at Christmas as well as blankets for the OU Children’s Hospital and Boys Ranch.
The guild meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Memorial Road Church of Christ Summit Building, Edmond, OK. All are welcome to visit or join our activities. For more information, go to www.edmondquiltguild.us.
